Team MTX

Collaboration and commitment

We’ve always prioritised the consistency of our people. Many of our board directors started with the business as apprentices; a true testament to our incredibly low staff turnover rate and dedication to nurturing talent. Our continued and enviable success has been built on the skills and dedication of our proactive team.

Collaboration and commitment lie at the core of our company culture. As a modern and progressive business with a clear direction and a strong leadership team, our people are our most valuable asset, and all form part of the great MTX family. We consistently promote a team ethos and encourage entrepreneurial traits within each and every aspect of the business; thriving on team spirit to enhance the unique rapport we have with our clients.

Home grown talent

Many of our team started their careers at MTX whilst at college, and were supported through their studies to obtain academic qualifications. These dedicated and committed individuals have matured to become some of our most talented and experienced managers, responsible for delivering key projects. Whilst encouraging graduate applications, our aim is to also work with local schools and colleges to inspire more young people to work within the construction sector and further increase our apprentices within the business.

We work proactively to retain our team, and ensuring we meet individual career aspirations is a fundamental part of this. We are a growing business and our team will grow with us, ensuring we promote from within. By continuing to retain our team and help them meet their own goals, we can ensure we provide continuous service and relationship to our clients.

Work life balance

Teamwork is vital to maintain morale, both within and away from the working environment. Throughout the year, we encourage members of the team to get involved in activities away from busy office and site environments. Some of the events we’ve recently enjoyed include an ‘It’s a knockout’ challenge for the Together Trust; Coast to Coast for The Prince’s Trust; Chester races; five-a-side football and karting evenings, in addition to plenty of social gatherings!
