MRI and CT facilities
Our bespoke buildings can be constructed to accommodate MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and CT (computed tomography) equipment. Working directly for NHS Trusts, or working in conjunction with specialist imaging technology suppliers, we are able to provide environments specifically engineered for this application.
Our modern construction solutions are completed in less than half the time of a traditionally constructed building and are specifically designed to accommodate the required magnetic field shielding.
Operational Equipment
MRI and CT equipment requires extensive services infrastructure, in addition to closely controlled environmental conditions, to support the operational requirements of the machinery. Due to the intense level of building services and close coordination between equipment suppliers, our buildings provide the perfect environment for this technology, minimising the time before the facility can become operational.
There are no limits as to what the MTX hybrid building system can achieve - we ensure that our client’s structural, architectural and building services requirements are always fully satisfied. All of our buildings meet the requirements of HTM, HBN and Local Authority Building Control and can be seamlessly connected to existing hospital buildings.
