MTX are proud to share the Prime Minister Boris Johnson visiting our site at Hereford County Hospital this week.
MTX are providing the Wye Valley NHS Trust with a total of 72 beds, split across 3 24 bed wards utilising Modern Methods of Construction.
This prestigious project was one of the first 20 new hospital upgrades in the country, funded by Boris Johnson’s NHS Build Fund. The Prime Minister met with key members of the MTX project and site team, learning about various project details, including the Department of Health Repeatable Room designs that are being utilised. He even got involved with the construction activities and carried out some spray plastering in one of the soon to be wards.
Project Director David Peacock said; “Myself and the team thoroughly enjoyed the experience of showing the Prime Minister our current Hereford project and explaining our processes and plan to complete the works.”
